Delivered in early 2019 by SES Yachts, M/Y IGUAZU is a 23.47-meter custom composite motor yacht designed for efficient, extended cruising. Her exterior profile, developed collaboratively by the shipyard’s in-house engineering team and Italy’s Duck Design, prioritizes functional deck spaces, clear sightlines, and safe deck circulation. Notably, the hull is constructed utilizing vinyl ester resin, a specification that provides superior structural integrity and osmotic resistance compared to conventional polyester formulations.

Internally, Barbara Pensoy’s design maximizes the available volume to create highly usable living areas suitable for long periods on board. The interior arrangement focuses on clear lines of sight and practical ergonomics. The accommodation layout is configured to sleep eight guests across four well-proportioned cabins. Circulation on board is planned with operational efficiency in mind; the crew quarters are entirely separated from the guest areas, featuring two cabins that accommodate a crew of three. This layout ensures both guest privacy and an uninterrupted professional service flow.

In the engine room, IGUAZU is equipped with twin Caterpillar C12.9 engines, each generating 1,000 horsepower. This propulsion package is specifically optimized for economic operation. The vessel cruises comfortably at 14 knots and is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 22 knots. Drawing from a 5,000-liter fuel capacity, she achieves an autonomous range of 1,500 nautical miles, making her highly capable for comprehensive Mediterranean itineraries. Navigational operations are managed via a complete Raymarine electronics suite. Operating under CE Category B certification, she is a proven, capable platform for offshore navigation.
